2 Man rnd 3 Maramarua
Final Round with Double Points - You don't have to havve ridden other rounds to enter
The Friendly X Country Series for all riders young and old, Junior or Senior, beginner or expert. No competition licence or experience necessary - come and have a go.

Sunday 1st June
National Enduro – Maramarua Forest – This is the intention: A full national with Junior classes included. MNZ Classes will be run. This will be a long day for the Seniors. Entry on the day from 7:30 am – Seniors start at 9:30 am sharp finishing around 4 pm – Juniors start at 11:00 am sharp finishing around 3 pm. There will be track splits which will be manned to stop cheats. Sections will not be tightly timed as we intend to have the results determined on the Special Tests. Timing will be by Real Time thus Mr Rushworth will be issuing riders cards already filled out with times, distances and averages included at the start line. MNZ are looking at hooking this event to on line live results through Johns excellent scoring system. We hope to have four or five individual special tests (terrain tests) ridden up to three times each. They will include two of the old favourites being Oakdens tight trees section near the entrance to the forest and what used to be the Spiral but will now be an Enduro X style special including Everest and the single track ride to the quarry. The other tests may include DRD in the Eastern Block and a grass track in the Western Block plus of course some tests within the forest itself. We are having working Bees to get this organised so sign up for that now to make this a memorable event. We also need helpers on the day for Special Test and Check timing. Please help the team out. Top Trail Rider Enduro Round – Maramarua Forest –this is a separate club type Enduro catering for Seniors and Juniors with easy to ride tracks and trails, fun special stages in an easy to understand format with the organisers going out of their way to help you enjoy the experience of Enduro. You will be helped through any technical difficulties with regards to timing, check points and special stages with a view to getting you to the end and achieving a finish. We won’t be there to catch you out, make things difficult or put you off. Ideal for first time competitors and experienced riders alike. Enduro Sprint Maramarua Forest – Monday 3rd June – a new concept for New Zealand this was previously trialled in Maramarua some years back with the concept coming from Australia. The format is special stages (Terrain Tests) without the long trails between. This means you get to ride the special stages many times, you get to watch the opposition and see how they do it and you get the chance to redeem yourself if you make a mistake in the earlier part of the day. A great stress free way to have a go at what Enduro is all about and your friends can watch you race. Entry on the day from 8:00 am – Riding starts 10:00 am sharp finishing around 2:00 pm.
