The Honda Family Trail Rides
The Family Trail Rides are designed for the entire family. Motorcycling is Fun. It brings families together, provides interesting recreation for boys and girls and teenagers, is physically challenging in a fun way and teaches co-ordination, awareness and driving/riding skills for when the young adults finally get behind the wheel of a car. All in all a great activity to take the youngsters out of the TV room, away from the computer screens and best of all avoids the influence of disruptive layabouts at malls, etc. In short is gives an interest with likeminded families.
At least four separate trails are provided from really small mini tracks in Blue markings, to a two km Green course for those moving up from beginner. Yellow trails denote family courses that are rideable by all and are usually around 5 – 8 km in length. The Red course is the course for the more advanceddults , aand advanced kids who are there for a full ride. This is up around 30 km in length with short cuts home. Safety is paramount at Power Adventures events and we are extremely proud of our safety record which is second to none.

MARAMARUA IS THE NEW TRAILRIDING VENUE - FANTASTIC RIDING
Come on down to Maramarua (only an hour down the southern motorway) - amazing tracks and trails - right through summer we have some fantastic rides there.
What to do:
All you need to do is front up with your motorcycle and motorcycle helmet. We will take care of the rest. We will direct you to sign on, invite you to fill out the registration form, give you information sheets and advise you on how and where to get going. You can arrive any time you like between 9 am and 1 pm and still get plenty of riding. Tracks don’t close until 3 pm. At lunch time there is always a Sausage Sizzle.
The People:
The type of people we attract are mostly family and the more cultured motorcyclist. We do not accept the hoon element of motorcycling and we quickly discourage any antisocial behaviour. We have a reputation for fairness and fun. Our motto is “Extreme Fun for Everyone” and we strive to maintain that. We believe that the riders are the most important people at the events – not officials bent on wielding any pseudo power they think they have. We welcome you!
Demo Bikes - Honda Trail Bikes await their test riders:
At the events there are demonstration trail bikes for people to try out should they be interested in upgrading to a Honda motorcycle, upgrading to a larger Honda motorcycle or trying out a motorcycle for the first time to see if it is what you want to do. See the dealer at the event - you get to ride the short blue or green track for short periods between 11 am and 2 pm.
